The journey to create Max Havoc’s hatchet began with sketches that envisioned a world ravaged by conflict and time. Inspired by dystopian themes and cultural references, these early ideas set the tone for a tool that would embody resilience and adaptability.

Using SolidWorks, the hatchet evolved into a precise, functional design. Its bold white and orange colour scheme wasn’t just striking—it symbolised hope amid desolation. Features like a wire-cutting slot and bolt fastener showcased its versatility, making it essential for survival, scavenging, and vehicle repairs in the wilderness.
Ergonomics played a key role in shaping the handle, ensuring a comfortable grip for various tasks. Multiple 3D-printed prototypes refined the design, balancing aesthetics and utility. The final model, finished with meticulous sanding and painting, captures the spirit of ingenuity and determination.

More than just a tool, Max Havoc’s hatchet represents the enduring human drive to overcome challenges and innovate, even in the bleakest of worlds. This project celebrates the power of imagination and the collaboration between human creativity and AI in redefining survival.
