Creating this bottle opener started with research into how bartenders interact with their tools. I observed how they move, what slows them down, and where there’s room for improvement. This gave me the insights needed to design a tool that could keep up with their speed and add an extra flair to their routine.
I began by sketching out several ideas, mixing traditional functions with new, innovative features. After testing various designs, the best one emerged—a sleek, ergonomic opener with all the functions bartenders need: a lever arm, twist grip, side edge, and front edge for can opening. Each feature was carefully designed to feel natural in the bartender’s hand while enhancing their performance.
The prototyping stage allowed me to refine the design, making sure everything felt intuitive and easy to use, even in the busiest bar environment. I made adjustments to ensure the opener was as efficient as it was stylish.

The end result is a multifunctional bottle opener that bartenders will love. It’s sleek, practical, and versatile—everything a bartender needs to serve drinks quickly, efficiently, and with style. This tool is more than just an opener; it’s an extension of the bartender’s hand, designed to elevate their performance and enhance the art of drink service.
