Creating these glasses was a thoughtful journey rooted in user-centred design. I began with precise measurements of my colleague’s facial structure to ensure a tailored fit. Inspired by a range of eyewear designs, I analysed styles and materials to identify key features that combined comfort and elegance. To better understand his preferences, I conducted interviews, which revealed his desire for frames that were lightweight and understated—an accessory that complements, rather than overpowers, his natural features.

During the conceptualisation phase, I explored rectilinear shapes softened by subtle curves, achieving a balance between sharpness and approachability. Through sketches and 3D modelling, I refined the design, ensuring that each detail contributed to both form and function.
Prototyping brought the concept to life. By creating physical mockups, I tested for comfort, fit, and overall aesthetic appeal. This iterative process allowed me to make precise adjustments, ensuring the final product met and exceeded expectations.
The result is a pair of glasses that seamlessly blend functionality and style. With their minimalist design and bespoke craftsmanship, they serve as both a practical tool and a reflection of the wearer’s individuality. These glasses don’t just elevate visual clarity—they enhance confidence and personal expression.
This project underscores my passion for thoughtful design, highlighting the power of collaboration, precision, and creativity in delivering solutions that resonate with users.
